As homeowners we are always looking for ways to improve our property.
If you are considering making any improvements to the exterior of your home and you live in a subdivision that is governed by a Homeowner’s Association (HOA) you must have approval from your architectural control committee before starting your project.
What do I mean by improvements?
With Spring fast approaching you may be thinking…
- A deck would be nice in the backyard for those summer bar-b-ques
- The paint on the house is chipping we need to repaint the exterior
- I can’t fit one more thing in my garage - it’s time for a shed!
- I’m sick of all the cedar trees in my yard. The next time we have nice weather I’m getting out the chain saw.
- I need to put or add a fence around the house.
- Even though the community pool is nice I want a pool of my own. I better start building now so we can enjoy this summer.
